History: According to the owner these stones were found in October 2021 by a group of Saharawi meteorite hunters about 100 km NW of Taoudenni, Mali.
Petrography: (K. Metzler, IfP) Brecciated ordinary chondrite, consisting of dark mm- to cm-sized chondritic clasts, embedded in a yellowish matrix of fine-grained related debris. The clasts show a recrystallized texture with barely visible chondrules of various textural types. Secondary feldspar grains are mostly μm. Accessory phases are Fe-Ni metal (mostly terrestrially altered) and troilite, mostly residing outside of chondrules.
Classification: LL chondrite based on mineral chemistry. Petrologic type 5, based on the equilibrated state of olivine and pyroxene and grain size of secondary plagioclase.
Specimens: The largest stone has a weight of 354 g.
Shock stage: C-S3
Weathering grade: W3/4
