After the 6694 was discontinued, Rolex fully transitioned to automatic movements, making it a landmark in the brand's history and the development of Swiss watchmaking. Powered by the in-house Cal. 1225 manual-winding movement, it is one of the purest representatives of old-school mechanical watchmaking.
