10. ACCA XF+, 十国南唐-唐国通宝, 篆书/花穿+北宋太宗-淳化元宝, 隶书
唐国通宝铸造于李璟交泰元年七月。钱面文有三種，是中国最早的对钱。钱背多光素无文，为国号钱。李璟荒於治理国家。当时南唐需要一个富有阅历、能审势度势、具有军事才能的皇帝，但他做不到。他发动了对闽国的战争，还讨伐过湖南的楚国。都因措施不当，没得到什么好处，反而劳民伤财，国力也渐渐衰弱。而这时北方的后周在柴荣的领导下渐渐强大起来，南唐经过与后周的较量，屡战屡败，不得不放弃长江以北的土地，割地赔款，向后周屈服，还废了帝号。唐国通宝是在战争需要经费、战败需要赔款的背景下铸造的。初铸篆书最为精美，但所见不多，篆法独特，笔法秀丽，与普通品迥异。而淳化是北宋太宗淳化元年（公元990年）开始铸造，钱文为宋太宗赵光义手书，即所谓的“御书体”，笔法雋永流连，十分洒脱，宋太宗一生酷爱书法，他即位后，留意翰墨，叫人购募古先帝王名臣墨帖。于淳化三年编刻成宋代著名的《淳化阁帖》，拓赐给大臣，由此重刻翻摹，使帖学开始在宋代盛行。这两枚都是较为罕见的古钱，请藏家不要错过。
10. ACCA XF+, Southern Tang of Ten Kingdoms - Tangguo Tongbao, Seal Script / Flower-cut Hole + Emperor Taizong of Northern Song - Chunhua Yuanbao, Clerical Script.
Tangguo Tongbao was cast in the seventh month of the first year of Li Jing's Jiaotai era. There are three types of inscriptions on the coin, regarded as the earliest comparative coins in China. Most of the coin backs are plain without inscriptions, representing the national title coins. Li Jing neglected the governance of the state. At that time, Southern Tang needed an emperor who was experienced, able to judge situations, and had military talent, but he could not fulfill this. He initiated wars against Min and also campaigned against Chu in Hunan. Due to improper measures, he gained little benefit, instead causing suffering to the people and draining national resources, while the country's strength gradually declined. Meanwhile, the Northern Zhou in the north, under the leadership of Chai Rong, gradually grew strong. After confrontations with Northern Zhou, Southern Tang repeatedly suffered defeats and had to give up lands north of the Yangtze River, cede territories, pay indemnities, submit to Northern Zhou, and even abolish the imperial title.
Tangguo Tongbao was cast against the backdrop of wartime need for funds and compensation after defeats. The initial seal script casting was the most exquisite, but few specimens exist; the script style is unique, and the strokes are elegant, quite different from ordinary coins.
Chunhua was cast in the first year of Emperor Taizong of Northern Song's Chunhua era (990 AD). The coin inscriptions were hand-written by Emperor Taizong Zhao Guangyi, called the 'Imperial Calligraphy Style,' with graceful and flowing strokes, very free and unconstrained. Emperor Taizong loved calligraphy throughout his life. After ascending the throne, he paid attention to calligraphy, collecting ink copies of famous previous emperors and ministers. In the third year of Chunhua, he compiled and engraved the famous Song dynasty 'Chunhua Pavilion Calligraphy Collection,' which was printed and given to officials. This led to re-engraving and copying, making the study of calligraphy flourish during the Song dynasty. Both of these coins are relatively rare ancient coins and are not to be missed by collectors.
