Constantius I, as Caesar, 293-305. Argenteus (Silver, 19 mm, 3.17 g, 12 h), Heraclea, circa 295. CONSTANTI-VS CAESAR Laureate head of Constantius I to right. Rev. PROVIDENTIA AVG / HΓ The four tetrarchs sacrificing over tripod in front of a six-turreted camp gate. Gautier 12. Jelocnik 93. RIC 5. RSC 242b. A very attractive example, perfectly centered and with lovely iridescent toning. Struck from slightly worn dies, otherwise, good extremely fine.
