卖家的描述
---- Description : ----
I am pleased to offer this beautiful slice of the famous Altai meteorite, weighing 110 grams.
This iron meteorite was discovered in Xinjiang, China in 1898 and is well known among collectors for its remarkable crystalline structure.
After cutting and etching, the slice reveals beautiful Widmanstätten pattern figures, formed by the slow cooling of metallic alloys inside the parent asteroid over millions of years. These geometric structures are characteristic of iron meteorites and make each slice unique.
The polished and etched surface clearly displays these striking metallic patterns, offering both scientific interest and aesthetic beauty.
