Val Saint Lambert red cut-to-clear crystal paperweight – stylized floral pattern, unsigned
Paperweight in red overlay on clear crystal (cut-to-clear), rounded rectangular oval shape, deep cut with stylized floral motif: large curved leaves and star-shaped flowers running through the body, rolled top rim and geometric faceted base. Characteristic of mid-20th century Val Saint Lambert production. Unsigned on pontil. Superb condition: brilliant crystal with no deep scratches or cracks, one tiny near-invisible chip on a base edge (under 1 mm, only noticeable in raking light and to the touch), no visible impact in normal use. Private Belgian collection provenance. Dimensions: length 10 cm, height 7 cm. Weight: 1250 g.
