Ada 2 was produced by Alex Katz in a limited edition of 40 pieces, numbered and hand-signed.

The protagonist of the work is Ada, Alex Katz's wife. The artist has been portraying the woman for over 50 years. Typical of Katz's artistic production is the depiction of faces through the use of simple, minimal lines.

The main feature of this portfolio is the depiction of Ada's face seen from different angles but never in full, as in this case where part of the face is cut off.

This work comes from the artist's 2017 black and white portfolio and depicts Ada's face in front, wrapped in a bandana.

Ada 2 is a silkscreen print and measures 33x33 cm.
