Representation of an "Asie Usu" male figure, seated on stool.
Such items are placed in shrines or altars outside of the village, and are used to host "bush spirits". They have to be nice and well carved, so they are attractive for the spirit, who is supposed to protect the village and the crops.
Beautiful representation, with a very high level of details.
The item is fixed to the wooden base visibleon the pictures
