Folding or extendable design (total open length 105 cm), brass or patinated metal fittings at corners and hinges. Interior compartments for storing sewing accessories (needles, threads, thimbles, scissors, etc.), hinged lids on each level. Rustic or workshop style, likely mid-20th century (1950s-1970s). Provenance: private Belgian collection.

Condition: good overall for age, sound wood without structural cracks or infestation, no breaks or major warping, leather handles intact without notable tears (light patina and usage wear), fittings with superficial oxidation but functional, surfaces with normal handling traces, old scratches and uniform dark patina, smooth opening/closing mechanism without excessive play.
