卖家的描述
antique Burmese octagonal lacquer table, dating to the late 19th or early 20th century (circa 1890–1910). This elegant piece features a beautifully decorated octagonal top finished in traditional red and black Burmese lacquer, richly adorned with intricate hand-painted court scenes and ornamental motifs.
The decorative technique is typical of traditional Burmese lacquerware, where multiple layers of lacquer are applied and finely engraved to create detailed scenes and patterns. The warm red and black tones combined with delicate gold accents give the table a striking and refined appearance.
The table consists of an octagonal top supported by a folding base frame, a traditional construction often used for tea tables or low side tables. The openwork legs and detailed panels further enhance its decorative character.
A charming and authentic example of traditional Burmese lacquer craftsmanship, ideal as a decorative accent piece or tea table that brings historical character and artisanal beauty to an interior.
