Location: Gadoufaoua, Téneré Desert, Niger.
Geological Formation: Erlhaz Fm
Age: Lower Cretaceous, Aptian/Albian stage ( 113 million years)
Size: 19,1mm

DESCRIPTION:
Extremely rare specimen. Due to its morphology, it is a claw belonging to an small-medium sized theropod dinosaur. It is very difficult to arrive at a precise taxonomic assignment and ID when only one isolated claw is available. Be that as it may, it is a jewel worthy of the most exquisite collectors.
Its morphology does not match any of the officially described theropods dinosaurs from Niger. Although its morphology is reminiscent of some small theropods although a precise taxonomic assignment cannot be made, until there is more literature to compare with, as well as new discoveries.
Observations: Not restored or glued. Only the tip is missing.
