Location: Oued Zem, Morocco
Geological Formation: Ouled Abdoun Basin (Phosphate beds)
Age: Upper Cretaceous, Maastrichtian stage, (~66 Million Years)
Size: 15cm

DESCRIPTION:
This enormous Mosasaurus hoffmanni tooth is preserved in exceptional way. The size corresponds without doubt to an adult individual. The quality of the enamel is very high due to the beautiful range of caramel brilliant hues. It does not have any product or treatment that has altered its original shine and color. Top rare mosasaur species.
Observations:
This tooth is fully rooted. However, when was unearthed, the crown broke and separated from the root. Therefore, this specimen was subsequently restored by gluing and filling the tooth and reattaching the crown to the root. Apart from that, there is no more restorations on it.
All of our fossils come with a Certificate of Authenticity. Every week, the issued Certificates of Authenticity are updated in our database verification system on our website.
