Description:
Complete antique Victorian/Edwardian fish cutlery service for 12 people (consisting of 6 starter/dessert size pairs and 6 main course size pairs). This set was crafted by the renowned master cutlers George Butler & Sons of Sheffield, England.

Key Features:
• Maker: George Butler & Sons, Sheffield (hallmarked 'G B S').
• Period: Probably late Victorian or Edwardian (ca. 1890-1910)
• Material: High-quality Silver Plated (EPNS) blades and tines, featuring beautiful hand-engraved floral and foliate

• Handles: Classic cream-colored "French Ivory" (ivorine/composite) handles in excellent vintage condition.
• Design: Ornate silver-plated ferrules (bands) connecting the handles to the blades, adding a touch of elegance to any dining table.
• Case: Presented in its original, velvet-lined wooden storage chest, which has preserved the set remarkably well over the last 120 years.

Condition:
The set is in very good antique condition. The silver plating remains bright with minimal wear. The handles are secure and show an aged patina. The wooden case shows minor signs of age-related wear, consistent with its history.
