Elegant cylindrical marble column – Second half of the 20th century

Splendid decorative column entirely made of marble, characterized by an extraordinary natural color palette ranging from translucent jade green to cream, with intense amber, rust and brown-gold veining.

The structure is composed of three distinct elements that fit together perfectly:

Square plinth base with classic circular molding (torus).

Monolithic cylindrical shaft, highlighting the stone's natural stratification.

Square-topped capital with beveled profile.

Technical Details

Material: Veined marble

Era: Second half of the 20th century (c. 1970–1980).

Origin: Italy (artisan craftsmanship).

Condition: Very good. The column retains the natural characteristics of the stone (micro-fissures and running veining) that attest to its authenticity. Minor signs of time and slight chipping on the base and the edge of the capital are noted, consistent with the age and material (see detailed photo gallery).

Assembly: Removable structure in 3 pieces to facilitate transport. The shaft fits securely into the bases via integrated stone pins.
