The French fabric house Manuel Canovas was founded in 1963 in Paris, faithful to the French "art de vivre", with a touch of 18th-century nostalgia, creates bold designs that are chic, rich, and boast striking harmonies of color.
Wonderful pair of cushions made with Manuel Canovas fabric "La Musardière" in "Azalée" color (100% Cotton) with backside made with "Monochrome 56" velvet fabric and two total-look cushions made with "Monochrome 56" velvet fabric in fuchsia color, the extra quality velvet made as special production by i-AMF.
Taken from an 18th century French copperplate, the original design was drawn by an artist named Dujardin for the Wesserling factory in Alsace. Scenes of young people playing and villagers involved in rural pursuits are shown in a romanticized landscape.
