Antique Brass Surveyor’s Pantometer - Wed. J. Ahrend & Zoon - Model 7305 - c. 1900-1910
A fine, professional-grade early 20th-century surveying instrument produced by the renowned Dutch firm Wed. J. Ahrend & Zoon, Amsterdam. This "divided" surveyor's square, or pantometer, was a precision tool used for horizontal angle measurement and laying out perpendicular lines in the field.
The instrument is crafted from high-quality polished brass and features a rotating cylindrical body with eight vertical sighting slits. It includes a finely graduated silver-plated scale for precise angle readings and a knurled fine-adjustment screw.
Manufacturer: Wed. J. Ahrend & Zoon Amsterdam (founded 1896).
