Magnificent and imposing centrepiece in translucent smoked green glass, made using the blown and hot-shaped glass technique. The organic and fluid shape evokes a wave or whirlpool movement, with elegant curves and beautiful material thickness. Heavy and sculptural piece from the “Fantaisies Modernes” series by René Delvenne for Val Saint Lambert in the 1960s. Unsigned.
Good overall condition. Some visible usage scratches on the surface, normal for a piece of this size and age. No major cracks or chips. Weight approx. 6400 g. Dimensions: height approx. 11 cm, maximum length approx. 32 cm.
