Moneda del tipo "Morgan Dollar" acuñada en la ceca de Philadelphia. En el anverso muestra el busto de la personificación de la Libertad, diseñada por George T. Morgan. En el reverso se encuentra el águila calzada sosteniendo un ramo de olivo y un manojo de flechas. Es una de las monedas más emblemáticas de la numismática estadounidense del siglo XIX.
