The Adventures of Tom Sawyer is a Japanese anime created by Nippon Animation in 1980 and originally broadcast on Fuji TV. The series, inspired by the popular novel The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and its sequel, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, by Mark Twain, is part of Nippon Animation's World Masterpiece Theater (Sekai Meisaku Gekijo) project.
