FINE & LARGE ANTIQUE CHINESE ROSE MANDARIN GILT GU SHAPE VASE WITH BRONZE MOUNT, H: 57CM, DAOGUANG PERIOD.

Excellent & finely hand-painted Rose Mandarin gilt Gu-shaped vase on a celadon ground with a bronze mount.

Beautifully painted court scenes with bright enamels and very well preserved gilt, various finely depicted gilt copper-red animals all around the cartouches, dragons on top and bottom chasing the sacred pearl.

The vase has been fully and very cautiously inspected: mounted as a table lamp, its foot rim has been removed but it is still in excellent condition with no damage except small kiln flaws and a micro chip on one of the dragon (please check our condition report and visuals).

It can be used as a table lamp with the existing very stable and adapted structure or just as a wonderful decorative object with bottom and top mounts.

The levels of details and precisions set this vase as one of Rose Mandarin master pieces of the Daoguang period.

A must-have for any Rose Mandarin lover or collector in superb condition for an eyecatching & very decorative object.

Condition: After VERY CAREFUL & MANY checks under natural and UV lights: NO Repair, NO hairline. A tiny chip on one of the dragon side. A micro impact on the belly, minor kiln flaws at the dragons feet on both sides (please check visuals). Little wears and gilt & enamel losses, all commensurate with age and period.
The bottom part of the vase has been pierced to transform it into a table lamp.
In overall EXCELLENT CONDITION and STRICTLY AS PER VISUALS.
