Melker declared to John, “I have always kept these words in my heart; it was difficult for me to speak them here, but now that I have spoken, let it be known to all: Adam...” he had not forgotten; Melker said, ‘I have seen a great and majestic being, and I have entered Paradise and established a throne there, and I have received the reward of the righteous from the Most High.’
But he committed a sin; he disobeyed Him, and thus he was cast out from Paradise, and this is the consequence of his disobedience. I ask for the grace of that noble one, the most generous, the one who clothes the souls in light. He is the one who created us, and I ask for the light of that noble one, the one who created us, to illuminate my heart through the Almighty.
