ABOUT THE ARTWORK
“Le Loup” embodies the silent strength of the wild — a presence both calm and powerful, emerging from a nocturnal landscape.

The wolf stands in a frozen moment, partially immersed in water, under a glowing moon. This composition evokes solitude, instinct and resilience. The surrounding forest, almost ghost-like, reinforces the feeling of isolation while creating a cinematic depth.

The dominant blue tones give the artwork a cold, almost mystical atmosphere. Blue here is not just a color — it becomes a mood: quiet, introspective, and slightly melancholic. It draws the viewer into a suspended moment, somewhere between reality and dream.

The reflection in the water subtly anchors the scene while adding movement and contrast to the stillness of the wolf. This duality — movement vs stillness — is central to the piece.

As in all my works, the piece is built on the contrast between precision and spontaneity. The wolf is meticulously crafted through a hand-cut stencil, capturing fine details of the fur and expression, while the background is created instinctively with layered textures, giving life and unpredictability to the composition.

Created using my signature double-layer stencil technique, the artwork is digitally designed, then entirely hand-cut before being painted with spray paint and acrylic. Each background is unique, ensuring that no two pieces are ever the same.
