卖家的描述
We present to you a set of exceptional rarity and finesse, a true time capsule that combines the craftsmanship of European silversmithing with the spiritual devotion of the 19th century.
Pectoral Reliquary: A Masterpiece of Sacred Miniature
The centerpiece is a "theca" reliquary, made of solid silver and natural abalone mother-of-pearl.
Frame: A work of particular complexity, featuring a twisted border handmade from three silver threads, symbolizing the Holy Trinity and the steadfastness of faith.
Interior: Under a domed crystal, which offers a spectacular magnifying glass effect, a floral ensemble of gold thread (Klosterarbeit) is revealed, framing the central portrait of Saint Konrad of Parzham. The piece houses the relics of three venerated saints: Konrad, Francis and Sabin, and an Agnus Dei
Reverse: The back of the medallion is covered in abalone mother-of-pearl, offering mesmerizing iridescences of emerald and purple, transforming the cult object into an exquisite jewel. The clasp retains the original silver guarantee hallmarks.
Jewelry Box: Elegance in the Napoleon III Style
The reliquary is protected by a Victorian box of sculptural beauty.
Crystal: Made of "Cranberry Glass" crystal (blown with gold to obtain that divine ruby hue), the box features beveled facets that capture the light in a unique way.
Mounting: Made of gilded brass (ormolu), with rococo-style feet and a pearly border that gives the object a noble presence. The interior retains the original quilted silk lining, providing a delicate resting place for the sacred piece.
Note to collectors: Although the box bears the noble mark of time through a fine crack in the crystal, the ensemble retains its aura of a heritage object, being a living testimony to the religious art and European luxury of 150 years ago.
