Ornate Italian .800 Silver Filigree Open Bowl – Mid-20th Century Florence (Firenze)

 Elegant antique open silver dish executed in a fine “Italian filigree style” with highly intricate openwork scrollwork and acanthus leaf motifs. The delicate pierced design, combined with a scalloped rim and smooth, highly reflective interior, creates a beautiful lacy, almost lace-like effect reminiscent of Renaissance Revival and Victorian-era elegance. 

It is ideal as a decorative centerpiece, fruit bowl, bonbon dish, or sweetmeat server.
