A large body-covering mask used in Makishi ceremonial rites of passage, constructed on an armature to be worn on the head. Entirely handmade, painted and sewn. Executed in mud cloth the mask features beautiful hand-painted decoration and raffia elements used as hair

Dimensions: approximately 40 cm x 40 cm (excluding the raffia “hair”).

Condition: good, sturdy condition, without damage.
