Highway to Hell is the sixth studio album by Australian hard rock legends AC/DC, released in July 1979. It represents a pivotal moment in rock history, serving as the band's massive commercial breakthrough in the United States. This was the first AC/DC album produced by the legendary Robert John "Mutt" Lange, whose polished production style helped the band conquer FM radio without losing their raw energy.
