Gertrud Lönegren (1905–1970) was an important Swedish ceramic artist and designer of the 20th century. She studied in Stockholm and Vienna during the 1920s before working for the St. Erik pottery in Uppsala from 1932 to 1936. She later joined Rörstrand in Lidköping, where she developed both functional and artistic ceramics characterized by soft organic forms and restrained natural glazes.
Active at Rörstrand between 1936 and 1941, she designed several well-known series including Domus, Capri and Bohus, distinguished by rounded volumes and refined modernist aesthetics. Her work is represented in major Swedish museum collections, including the Nationalmuseum and the Röhsska Museum.
