CALABRIA, Tarentum. Circa 415-405 BC. AR Nomos (7.48 g, 25mm, 1h). Phalanthos on dolphin right; A below / Nude rider on horseback right, crowning horse; kerykeion to right. Fischer-Bossert group 21, 298f ; Vlasto 325; HN Italy 851; SNG Lloyd 151; McClean 570; Jameson 107 (all from the same dies). Good Fine, lightly toned, a few light marks, minor deposits of horn silver. Very rare.
