ABOUT THE ARTWORK
“Luffy Haki” captures a defining moment of intensity, where determination, power and will converge into a single presence.

Through this piece, I wanted to represent more than just a character — I focused on the energy that surrounds him. The Haki is not visible in a literal way, but it is felt through the tension of the body, the posture, the gaze. Everything in the composition is directed toward this idea of inner strength ready to explode.

The monochrome palette reinforces this atmosphere. By limiting the colors, I push the viewer to concentrate on contrast, structure and emotion. The deep blacks anchor the figure, while the lighter tones sculpt the anatomy and amplify the sensation of power building from within.

The background is intentionally raw and textured, created instinctively with layers of paint and materials. It acts as a chaotic environment, opposing the control and focus embodied by the character. This contrast between disorder and mastery reflects the essence of the Haki itself.

Each stencil has been entirely hand-cut, layer by layer, demanding precision and patience. This meticulous process contrasts with the spontaneous creation of the background, resulting in a balance between control and instinct — a core element of my artistic approach.

This artwork speaks about resilience, ambition and the ability to push beyond limits — a theme that resonates far beyond the character itself.
