St Péray is a small quarry locality in the western Ardèche border of the Massif Central. Sporadically, it produces beautiful combinations of fluorite, baryte, calcite, chalcopyrite and marcasite but the fine specimens remain very scarce.
Here is an remarkable combination specimen from the locality, displaying bicolor zoned yellow and purple fluorite cubes, in combination with a baryte spray decorated with small chalcopyrite crystals.
