卖家的描述
Elegant Mid-Century Modern table lamp designed by Josef Hůrka for the Czech manufacturer Napako during the 1960s. Model 0520 is a refined example of post-war Czechoslovak design, combining functional modernism with the clean geometric aesthetics that defined the era.
The lamp features a striking black lacquered metal shade with a white diffuser, supported by two slim chromed metal rods on a rectangular black base, creating a beautifully balanced and minimalist silhouette.
Josef Hůrka is regarded as one of the most important lighting designers of the Czechoslovak modernist movement, alongside influential designers and makers associated with Mid-Century European lighting such as Stilnovo, Arteluce, Louis Kalff, Gino Sarfatti, Kaiser Leuchten, Fog & Mørup, and the Scandinavian and Bauhaus-inspired modernist tradition. His work for Napako remains highly sought after for its timeless elegance, functional design, and architectural presence.
The lamp emits a soft atmospheric light and works perfectly as a desk lamp, bedside lamp, or decorative interior statement piece. An excellent addition to interiors inspired by Mid-Century Modern, Bauhaus, Space Age, or minimalist design.
Condition: Very good vintage condition with minor signs of age and use consistent with the period. The lacquered surfaces and chrome elements remain well preserved. Fully functional.
