所描绘的人物是随手捕捉，非摆拍。

开始于2003年并持续进行中），城市被演绎为巨大的露天阅读厅，
其边界包含台阶、小墙、巷道和纪念碑，成为容易成为依靠自己偏爱的作家的避 refuge
在其中沉浸于自我阅读。蒙特库科（Montecucco）能够唤起
那种温和而可塑的氛围，准备接纳并照顾读者，保留在城市喧嚣中的最甜美瞬间的亲密感。
在 Montecucco 展出的图像中，艺术家进一步赋予作品意义，使其获得“阅读”这一概念，从而成为文化。
摄影与随处可见的读者一起，成为艺术在我们城市艺术中的建筑与辉煌作品的主角，与之融合，
在“人类、艺术与思想”之间形成一份私密而无声的对话。
所描绘的人物在专注阅读时被随意捕捉，常背对镜头，始终不自知成为艺术作品的一部分。

克劳迪奥·蒙特库科（Claudio Montecucco）用罗伯特·杜瓦诺（Robert Doisneau）的话来讲述他的项目：
“我想要展示的，是一个让我感到幸福的世界，在那里人们会友善，在那里我会找到我希望得到的温柔。我的照片就像是一份证明，证明这个世界确实存在。”
