A carefully curated lot of 10 vintage Austrian coins from the early post-WWII era (1947–1961), showcasing classic Schilling and Groschen denominations. A fantastic addition for beginner collectors, history enthusiasts, or those building a vintage European coin collection.
Included in this lot:
1 Schilling – 1947
Iconic male sower design, symbolizing Austria’s rebuilding after the war.
2 × 2 Schilling – both 1961
Aluminum-bronze coins featuring edelweiss flowers, Austria’s national alpine flower.
4 × 10 Groschen
1949 (zinc, darker tone, early postwar)
1953, 1955, 1959 (light aluminum type)
2 × 50 Groschen – both 1947
