Dial and Hands
The dial of this Citizen Alarm is a masterclass in mid-century texture and layout, presenting in near-immaculate condition. It features a striking two-tone effect achieved through finishing rather than color: the smooth inner circle is framed by a broad outer track decorated with deep, concentric guilloché-style ridging. Applied silver-tone faceted hour markers catch the light beautifully against this textured backdrop. Below the 12 o'clock position sits an applied, stylized alarm bell logo, followed by the elegant "Citizen Alarm" script. The lower half features crisp "17 JEWELS PARASHOCK" printing. The time is indicated by sharp dauphine hands, accompanied by a slim center sweep second hand, while the vital alarm function is set via the distinctive arrow-tipped hand.
