WINE VARIETIES: Aragonez (50%), Trincadeira (30%) & Alicante Bouschet (20%).

VINIFICATION
After manual harvesting into 20kg boxes, the bunches and berries were selected at the winery. The grapes were destemmed and lightly crushed. The must, in contact with the skins and seeds, fermented in stainless steel tanks with controlled temperature (24ºC / 26ºC).

TASTING NOTES
A wine with a vibrant, concentrated, and polished ruby ​​color. The aroma suggests fresh, aromatic, and vibrant red fruit, currants and raspberries enveloped in a sensation of cocoa and spice. The palate follows the profile of the nose: macerated red berries, present tannins, good acidity, and freshness leading to a long, gastronomic finish. A wine typical of Alentejo cuisine, perfect for everyday meals.

SERVING
A fresh and versatile Alentejo red wine that pairs well with a wide variety of dishes. Light meals, snacks, cheese and charcuterie boards, or even grilled meats, will certainly be a good choice. Serve at 16-18º C.

Adega Mayor extends across 350 hectares of holm oak forest, riverside galleries, and agricultural fields.
From the top of the panoramic terrace, one can see, on the horizon, the vineyard, the olive grove of the estate, Spain, and the Serra de Portalegre mountain range. With a contemporary perspective, the art of living well reinvents itself.
It was in this landscape that the architect Siza Vieira applied his style—simple, refined, essential. These were the lines that gave life to Adega Mayor.
A world architectural landmark that distinguishes and elevates the winemaking heritage of the Alentejo region. A building whose complexity was whitewashed to enhance simplicity and blend into the landscape.
