Rich royal blue tanzanite take center stage in these elegant drop earrings, cut into classic pear shapes and secured in smooth yellow gold bezels. Above the striking blue centerpieces, an intricate, swirling motif accented with sparkling diamonds adds a touch of vintage-inspired contrast. The yellow gold construction is finished with classic post backings for comfortable wear.

Please note that the diamonds are set on silver foil. This was a special technique used to enhance the brilliance of the diamonds. The entire “frame” is made of 18-karat yellow gold, as well as the earring backs (butterfly back). Only the settings for the diamonds are made of silver.You can also see that the earring is made entirely of yellow gold. The settings for the tanzanites are also made of yellow gold.
