Schuco

Schuco Dutch dancing couple no. 978 - Germany from 1937

Dance figure Dutch boy with girl and with a good working wind-up mechanism. Pre-war, Made in Germany (from 1937). In a very good condition. This is the first pre-war version with a larger girl, later the celluloid figure is a bit smaller. The couple with a smaller girl is seen more often.

The winding mechanism can be wound smoothly and runs excellently, with the Dutch boy turning in circles and lifting the girl up and down and then slower and slower until they have finished dancing.

Super nice to see and in a very good original condition with original felt clothing, which still has nice fresh colours. The celluloid girl is intact and she still has her original hood and apron and he has his scarf.

See photos for the general condition of the toy. They are a main part of the description.
