闹钟, 十日钟表 - CYMA - - 漆黄铜 - 1960-1970

A vintage mantle clock by the famous Swiss company CYMA, designed in the traditional style of Neuchâtel clocks.
Watch Features
Manufacturer: Cyma Watch Co. (Swiss Made).
Design: It features a bell-shaped all-brass body with a black enamel finish, gilt details on the perimeter and hand-painted floral motifs on the front.
Dial: White dial with classic Roman numerals and ornate Louis XVI style hands with a real glass oval cover.
Movement: Mechanical, high-precision self-winding movement (15 jewels), which also includes an alarm function. The alarm clock has an original and innovative way of winding without a rotary control but with a semicircular sliding control which is calibrated according to the duration of the alarm clock operation that we want each time.
There are of course the corresponding time and alarm controls, stop for the alarm clock and adjustment for the accuracy of the operation. All controls are prototypes and have not been replaced.
Logo: In the center it bears the mark "CYMA" and below the number [10] inside a hexagon, which indicates its duration of operation. 10 days with one winding. Duration two days more than the usual eight days, with this type of mechanism in this particular series.
Size: This is a miniature office/boudoir/travel clock, approximately 15-16 cm high.
This type of clock was made in Switzerland mainly in the mid-20th century (1950s-1970s). They were popular luxury decorative pieces for fireplaces, desks or bedside tables, reproducing the French and Swiss aesthetics of the 18th century.
