The fragment is constructed from silk brocade and incorporate metallic-wrapped threads, likely utilizing lampas or lamé weaving techniques. The decorative motifs feature traditional botanical designs, including flowering stems, multi-petaled blossoms, floral sprays, and a prominent central pointed bud or fruit. The fragments are shaped into trapezoidal, rectangular, hexagonal, and square forms. The color palette includes yellow, orange, green, and gold set against silk grounds of red, brown, pinkish-beige, and bronze-gold. Each fragment is professionally mounted within a white window mat and secured to a cardstock backing.
