卖家的描述
Archive of 46 original photographic printing plates/printing templates relating to Eggenberg Palace, Graz.
This collection comprises 46 original photomechanical printing plates used in the 1970s for the production of an exhibition catalog or museum publication.
The plates depict various objects from the Eggenberg Palace area, including:
* Paintings
* Sculptures
* Architectural views
* Decorative artworks and historical interiors
Each plate is contained in its original archive sleeve with handwritten annotations such as "Fig." (illustration) and internal numbering, indicating systematic use within a publication.
* The box also contained a document entitled:
“Restorations and New Acquisitions 1972–1975”
(Joanneum Provincial Museum Graz – Eggenberg Palace)
This suggests that the printing plates were created in connection with an exhibition or publication at Eggenberg Palace, now part of the Universalmuseum Joanneum.
After consulting with staff at the Universalmuseum Joanneum, it was confirmed that the material was removed or disposed of years ago and is no longer part of the museum's archive.
The collection represents an authentic working archive from the historical photomechanical printing process and is not a modern reproduction.
Condition:
* Good condition for its age
* Minor signs of storage and use
* Original envelopes included
* Uncleaned and unrestored
An exceptional document of Austrian museum and printing history from the 1970s.
