A nice pair of French art deco wall lights made around 1925-1935 in nickel plated solid brass or bronze holding beautiful panels in clear frosted molded-pressed glass by Muller. The clear glass was frosted by acid and then hand polished to create glossy transparent highlights.
The wall sconces are 32,3 cm wide 20,3 cm high and project 15 cm from the wall. They are in excellent condition. I have re-nickeled and patinated the fixtures. The usual small chips on the rim where the shades glide in the mountings. They are hidden by the mounts. The wall lamps are rewired with American candelabra base sockets. For European countries I will wire with E14 ones.
The bronze frames are marked VH for the famous Parisian lighting firm la maison Hettier et Vincent. The panels are signed Muller frères Luneville.
