卖家的描述
珍稀精美花纹彩釉覆盒,后期大越(黎)王朝,15-16世纪,越南
高度 7.2 cm / 直径 9.2 cm
This finely potted covered box is of rounded form, raised on a short foot, with a gently domed cover fitting naturally over the body. The exterior is decorated in underglaze blue and green enamel with floral motifs, dotted patterns, and divided panels, while the raised vertical ribs define the decorative sections around the body. The cover is painted with a central circular floral design, enclosed within an underglaze-blue roundel and surrounded by radiating petal-shaped panels, creating a lively and highly decorative composition.
The surface is covered with a soft bluish-white glaze, accompanied by natural crazing, iron-brown firing specks, and freely executed brushwork, all characteristic of Vietnamese ceramics of the Later Le period. The combination of underglaze blue and green enamel reflects the bright and distinctive decorative taste of 15th–16th century Vietnamese ceramics, as well as their connection to the wider ceramic trade traditions of East and Southeast Asia.
With its rounded form, harmonious proportions, and elegant interplay of blue and green decoration, this covered box presents the refined yet decorative character of Later Le dynasty ceramics.

Provenance:
A French private collection formed in Hong Kong during the 1960s-1980s.
Condition:
Overall in good antique condition, consistent with age and type.
The surface shows natural wear consistent with age, including glaze ageing, natural crazing, surface abrasions, firing imperfections, kiln adhesions, iron-brown specks, and areas of discoloration. Small glaze losses, minor chips, and wear are visible around the rim, cover edge, raised ribs, foot ring, and base. The lower box rim has a chip measuring approximately 0.8 cm, and another chip measuring approximately 0.4 cm is visible on the exterior side of the rim. The green enamel and underglaze-blue decoration show age-related wear and slight fading in areas. Accretions, kiln grit, and age-related deposits are visible on the exterior and underside.
The interior and underside show normal signs of age, including firing marks, surface wear, kiln residue, and natural oxidation. The box and cover remain structurally stable overall. Please refer carefully to the photographs for full condition details.
