A superb cabinet-sized specimen of fluorite from the famous 2016 discovery in Samning Prefecture, renowned among collectors for producing some of the finest “tanzanite-colored” fluorites ever found in China.

This piece showcases a dense aggregation of well-formed, sharply defined crystals exhibiting an exceptional deep violet to electric blue coloration, strongly reminiscent of fine tanzanite. The crystals display predominantly cubic to slightly modified habits, with excellent transparency and a bright vitreous luster across the faces.

Color zoning is evident throughout the cluster, with richer, saturated cores transitioning into lighter lavender edges, creating depth and visual complexity. The interplay of light across the crystal faces produces striking internal reflections and flashes, particularly under focused illumination.
