All the wines sold by us are kept in a temperature controlled cellar at 14-16°C, 70-80% humidity, in a dark room in absence of light.

La Spinetta's Barolo Garretti is made in Campé Grinzane Cavour using sustainable farming methods, free from pesticides and herbicides. Alcoholic fermentation lasts 7-8 days in temperature-controlled rotofermenters. Malolactic fermentation takes place in barriques, and the wine is then aged in 600-liter medium-toasted French oak barrels, 50% new and 50% used, for 24 months. After aging, the wine is transferred to steel tanks where it remains for 3 months before bottling. This Piedmontese red can age in bottle for over 20 years.
