Vintage WIFEU "Flatty" petrol pocket lighter, complete set with original box (1955) - Vienna SouvenirDescription:An authentic and complete collector's set from the mid-20th century. This lot contains the famous ultra-slim profile lighter from the "Flatty" range, produced in Austria by the WIFEU company (Wiener Feuerzeug & Metallwarenfabrik), under the original Bernhardt patents.Manufacturer / Brand: WIFEU, Austria.Model: Flatty (Full Automatic mechanism).Year of production: 1955 (clearly printed on the cardboard box).Visual decoration: The front of the chrome-plated metal case features an industrially embossed design, which represents the famous Vienna Ferris Wheel (Wiener Riesenrad) in the Prater Park. The model is completed with colored enamel accents (green for the trees and dark red for the roofs).Markings on the lighter:On the front: The stamped text "WIEN" above the drawing. On the base (bottom): The official factory logo "WIFEU" framed in an elongated hexagon and the original screw for the fuel supply. The mechanism moves freely, is completely clean and is not blocked.Original box included: The lighter comes with its original red cardboard box. On the front of the box it says: "Bernhardt FLATTY / 1955 / FULL AUTOMATIC / AUSTRIA". On the side of the box the word "Email" is stamped, matching perfectly with the finish of the lighter inside. The box has the original triangular cutout from the factory. Condition of the parts: Lighter: Very good vintage condition, with normal micro-scratches on the chrome finish, typical of its age. The enamel paint is completely intact, without chips or missing portions. The mechanism works smoothly. Box: Good vintage condition, showing normal wear on the corners and a small tear near the cutout, absolutely natural aspects for a 70-year-old cardboard package. A complete set of matching numbers, ideal for collectors of vintage lighters and tobacconists.
