卖家的描述
Elegant English table cruet set composed of three sterling silver casters and two rear crystal bottles, dating to the George II period (mid-18th century). The ensemble features finely pierced and engraved decoration with rich repoussé and chased motifs, including cartouches and foliate patterns typical of high-quality English silver of the period.
A lovely weight of 2010g for the complex and 1595grams of monumental 1747 sterling silver.
The silver casters are beautifully worked with pierced domed lids and turned finials, while the shaped base with side handles and central shield cartouche enhances the overall decorative impact. The two cut-crystal bottles at the back complete the set, making it an important and visually striking table piece as well as a desirable collector’s item.
