卖家的描述
Designed in 2010 by Andrea Branzi, the Alessi ''Scoiattolo'' (squirrel) nutcracker. The design displays a squirrel enjoying a fine nut on a log. With the ''Scoiattolo'', Branzi demonstrates his attentiveness to the environment and natural forms. This nutcracker is just as good at cracking nuts as a squirrel itself. The combination of 18/10 polished stainless steel and wood makes it a cheerful item. The nutcracker has two slots: one is suitable for cracking walnuts, almonds, or other large nuts, the other for breaking the shells of hazelnuts and other small nuts.
The nutcracker is in a new condition and never been used. Delivered with original packaging and manuals.
Andrea Branzi:
Born in Florence in 1938, architect and designer. At an early age he studied as an architect at the Florence School of Architecture. Later on he was one of the founders of Italy’s first postgraduate design school, the Domus Academy. Besides, Branzi is one of the members of the EEC Commission for the promotion of the European design. He produced products for the most famous brands like Cassina, Vitra and Zanotta. As widespread acknowledgement for his work he was two times awarded with the prestigious Italian industrial design award Compasso d'Oro。
