​Descrizione:
​Splendido e raro astuccio combinato portasigarette con accendino meccanico a benzina integrato, risalente al periodo del dopoguerra (anni '50 / primi anni '60).
​Il fronte dell'oggetto è decorato con un'affascinante e vivida illustrazione smaltata a colori che raffigura un uomo in abiti tradizionali a cavallo di un cammello nel deserto, accompagnata dalla scritta "Souvenir of Libya". Questo tipo di oggettistica veniva prodotta come ricordo d'epoca, acquistata principalmente dal personale militare britannico e americano di stanza nelle basi strategiche in Libia (come la Wheelus Air Base) o dai primi turisti occidentali del dopoguerra.
​Caratteristiche e Condizioni:
​Meccanismo: L'accendino è stato testato ed è perfettamente funzionante; il meccanismo a scatto è fluido e produce una fiammata eccellente (vedi foto dedicate). Verrà spedito scarico per motivi di sicurezza nei trasporti.
​Interno: Estremamente pulito, completo di entrambi i braccetti metallici traforati originali con meccanismo a molla ben teso. Può essere utilizzato per contenere sigarette o, come mostrato in foto, come pratico ferma-banconote/portafoglio.
​Esterno: La cromatura presenta una diffusa ed evidente fioritura/patina del tempo che ne attesta l'assoluta autenticità e il fascino storico, mentre il pannello grafico frontale è in condizioni eccezionali.

​Description:
​Stunning and rare vintage combination cigarette case and integrated mechanical petrol lighter, dating back to the post-WWII era (1950s / early 1960s).
​The front features a highly detailed and vibrant enamel illustration depicting a rider in traditional attire on a camel in the desert, alongside the text "Souvenir of Libya". These items were highly popular keepsakes, predominantly purchased by British and US military personnel stationed at strategic bases in Libya (such as Wheelus Air Base) or by early post-war Western tourists.
​Features & Condition:
​Mechanism: The lighter has been tested and is in perfect working order; the flip-top mechanism triggers smoothly and produces a great flame (see dedicated pictures). It will be shipped empty of fuel to comply with postal safety regulations.
​Interior: Exceptionally clean, retaining both of its original pierced metal spring-loaded arms with excellent tension. It can be used to hold cigarettes or, as pictured, as a stylish money clip/billfold.
​Exterior: The chrome plating displays a widespread, authentic vintage patina and pitting that underscores its historical charm and age, while the enamel graphic panel remains in outstanding condition.
