Demantoid is one of the rarest and most desirable members of the garnet family. Famous for its extraordinary fire and dispersion, often exceeding that of diamond, demantoid has been highly prized by collectors and connoisseurs since the nineteenth century. Fine demantoids remain among the most sought-after collector garnets in the world.

This gemstone has been fashioned in a classic round mixed cut, a shape specifically designed to maximize brilliance and showcase the remarkable optical properties for which demantoid garnet is renowned.
