About the Artist: Anne Dias is an American painter born in 1985 in Cleveland, Ohio. A 2015 graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, she has participated in numerous group exhibitions since graduation. Her work explores the pursuit of neutrality — not aiming to denounce, but rather to present the world objectively. Her compositions transform bodies and spaces into simple objects, united by the inner complexity of the painting.
